What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion uses a minimally abrasive diamond-encrusted wand to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, millia, and sun damage. Each session removes approximately three to four weeks' worth of dead skin cells from the service area.
Microdermabrasion works on all skin types and colors. It makes subtle changes, causing no skin color change or scarring. It is not effective for deeper problems such as scars, wrinkles, or deep acne scars. The skin may be temporarily pink but fully recovers within a couple of hours. It doesn't require surgery or anesthetics. That may help people who cannot take "down time" for healing.
Microdermabrasion can be used on any part of the body, not just on the face. Legs, arms, elbows, torso, chest, and back. Microdermabrasion facials includes cleansing and moisturizing of the serviced area to help reduce dryness and promote healthier skin.
After your service, it is recommended that you do not do any strenuous activities that will cause you to sweat, use a swimming pool, or sunbathe for at least 36-48 hours.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of, up to, the full cost of the scheduled service.
