About Sunless Tanning
What is "Sunless Tanning"?
Sunless Tanning is a cosmetic skin treatment that uses products to provide a tanned appearance without exposure to the sun or other sources of ultraviolet radiation. One commonly used ingredient in these products is dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a color additive that darkens the skin by reacting with amino acids in the skin's surface to achieve the desired tan.
• What are "Bronzers"? •
Bronzers are used to describe a variety of products intended to achieve a temporary tanned appearance. For example, tinted moisturizers, brush-on powders, and some spray tans. These produce a temporary effect, similar to other types of makeup, and wash off over time. Some products are marketed with other ingredients in addition to DHA in order to provide a tanned appearance.
• Do sunless tanners and bronzers provide protection from the sun? •
No - Sunless tanning is a cosmetic skin treatment that provides a tanned appearance without exposure to the sun or ultraviolet radiation. You should continue to wear Sunscreen that contains SPF 30+ on a daily basis.
What do I Need to do Before / After My Appointment?
As with all services, before and after care can drastically improve your results. For the absolute best looking tan, we recommend you check out our Pre/Post Spray Tan Care tips below. We will also send out a reminder with all these tips as well.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of, up to, the full cost of the scheduled service.

♦ Appointments under 10 minutes late will have their services adjusted to stay within their scheduled time.
