If you know a thing or two about the world of health and beauty, you’ve likely been hearing about the benefits of CBD oil. From reducing stress and anxiety to providing better sleep and reducing inflammation and irritations, CBD can be vital to feeling your best. Because of its powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, CBD has now evolved into a skin-care must-have.
What is CBD, you may ask?
CBD is short for cannabidiol. It’s the anti-inflammatory, non-psychoactive component of cannabis – found both in marijuana and hemp plants. No, it will not get you high – that would be THC. It can, however, be used to treat pain, spasms, anxiety, depression, redness, inflammation, and more.*
Before you write off getting a facial with CBD due to what you may have heard about "marijuana" or your pre-conceived notions are, consider this...
In terms of skincare, CBD can be used to calm any rashes or other forms of irritation, encourage cellular repair, remedy mild to moderate pain, and control oil production.
CBD acts as a superfood and is filled with super antioxidants that are able to assist with:
• Encourage cellular repair
• Correct sun damage
• Lessen fine lines and wrinkles
• Help reduce pore size
• Regulate oil production
• Helps heal and repair acne scarring
• Anti-Inflammatory, so it is excellent for treating eczema or psoriasis
• Balances even the most sensitive of skins
